How To Keep Losing Your Gut While on Vacation

March 3rd, 2008 · No Comments

Many of you will be going on vacation soon since spring is right around the corner and the vacation season starts to pick up.  Some of you may also be going on Spring Break so how do you stick to your Get Rid of My Gut Diet while traveling?

Well, I just was traveled to Columbus Ohio this last weekend and got home yesterday and I drove.  That meant I had 6.5 hours in my car and 839 fast food locations between my home and Columbus Ohio.

Well, I don’t know if there were 839 fast food locations, but I do know there seemed to be about 2-3 at every major exit.

Here is what I packed to make sure that I stayed on my carb rotation diet and would still make progress even though I was traveling.

1.  I packed a few servings of Prograde Lean  Meal Replacement Shake and a shaker cup.

2.  Apples

3.  Almonds

4.  Prograde Cravers

5.  Plenty of bottles of water to drink and to use for mixing my Prograde Lean.

This meant I only had to stop to fill up with gas and use the restroom.

It actually worked out great because I didn’t have cravings for candy bars or fast food when I had to stop and when I got to Columbus I went to a nice Italian restaurant and had a wonderful dinner.  I wasn’t starving so that meant I didn’t overeat at dinner.

Ironically my friend who I met there had healthy snacks to eat on the way as well thanks to his wife packing them before he left.

We were able to avoid the fast food trap when traveling.  So if you have a vacation coming up and you will be traveling whether you are driving or flying make sure you pack some healthy snacks so that you don’t get caught in that trap of only having fast food available.

Since I didn’t get home to yesterday afternoon Liane and I took some quick measurements this morning for our 30 day belly fat transformation.

I lost another 5/8" of an inch off my waistline and I gained 1 pound so my lean body mass is going up which is what I want.

Liane was able to get back to getting her workouts in except for when I was gone.  She spent that time chasing our daughter around, which is definitely an activity.

The ability to exercise again really paid off this week for her as she lost 1/2 an inch from her waistline and 3/4" of an inch from her hips.

We have 8 days left until the end of 30 days so we will be trying our best this week to maximize our success.

Here is just one of many successful men following the Get Rid of My Gut Diet program.

I am a 30 year old, 5′9" male that for the past 2 years has lived a very sedentary life and, unfortunately, packed on the porkage.  On 2/11/08 I weighed in at a whopping 220lbs, with a 28mm skin fold which equates to 25.2% bodyfat.  According to the formulas, that’s 55.4lbs of fat!  On 2/17 [ one full week ] I redid my measurements and the results were:

On Sunday it was my fiance’s dad’s birthday and I succumbed to a small piece of cake,  but even still I had a 26.5mm skin fold… which brings me down to 24.4% BF, and a weight of 216lbs!

My last measurements, closing up week 2 were:

214.4lbs, 24.5mm skinfold: 23.4% body fat and 50.17lbs of fat. My LBM increased from 163.3 back up to 164.2 and two of my friends have commented on my build already changing and my face looking thinner.

Thanks, Greg
